Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 5/23/2025.

At How to Bitcoin, we are committed to making our website—learnhowtobitcoin.com—accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe in equal access to knowledge, security, and financial sovereignty, and we strive to ensure that all users can navigate and use our site without barriers.

What Web Accessibility Means

An accessible website allows people with various disabilities—such as visual, auditory, physical, or cognitive impairments—to interact with the site using assistive technologies like screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnifiers, and voice command software. Our goal is to make this experience as easy and intuitive as possible for every user.

Accessibility Adjustments on This Site

We are actively working toward full compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, using the tools and features provided by the Wix platform.

To support accessibility, we have:

  • Used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to identify and fix potential issues

  • Set the site language to English (United States)

  • Structured the content order and tab flow logically across pages

  • Applied clear heading hierarchy (H1–H3) for screen reader compatibility

  • Added alt text for meaningful images and graphics

  • Used color combinations that meet contrast requirements for readability

  • Minimized use of motion or flashing animations

  • Ensured no audio/video auto-play and limited motion to prevent discomfort

  • Made sure any downloadable files (e.g., PDFs) are accessible and screen-reader friendly

We do not use pop-ups, cookie banners, or third-party ad widgets that could interfere with accessibility.

Declaration of Partial Compliance

We currently rely on third-party platforms, such as Square, Inc., to handle bookings and payments. While Square maintains its own accessibility standards, we cannot guarantee WCAG compliance for its embedded forms or hosted pages. Users may experience limited accessibility on external payment screens linked from our site.

Accessibility in Our Service Delivery

As a remote-based business, How to Bitcoin does not operate a physical storefront. All services are delivered virtually via tools such as Google Meet, which supports closed captioning and other accessibility features.

Clients may communicate with us through email, text message, voice messages, or by submitting screenshots to explain issues they encounter. We are committed to working with every client, including those using assistive technology, to ensure they can access and benefit from our services.
